Windows 2000 Internet Setup

  1. Go to the "Start" Button then goto "Settings" then go to "Control Panel."

  2. Find the "Network and Dial-up Connections" icon and double-click it.Windows 2000
  3. Double-Click on "Make new Connection.
  4. Click Next on the first screen of the wizard.
  5. Choose the "Private Network" option.Windows 2000
  6. Click Next on the bottom of the screen.
  7. Enter the phone number for your area from POP Locations and Numbers.Windows 2000
  8. Uncheck the box "use dialing rules."
  9. Press Next on the bottom of the screen.
  10. Choose to create connection "For all users"
  11. Press Next on the bottom of the screen.
  12. For the name of the connection enter "PCI Internet"
  13. Check the box "Add a shortcut to my desktop"
  14. Click on the "Finish" button.
  15. For the "User Name" enter your full e-mail (all lower case)Windows 2000
  16. Enter you password (all lower case)
  17. Check the box "Save Password" if you want the computer to save it for you.
  18. Press Dial to establish a connection.
