How to Enable Outgoing Mail Authentication in Outlook Express


Using Outlook Express, goto Tools (next to File, Edit, View, etc.) and
Accounts...

This will open an Internet Account window,
Goto the Mail tab, and open your account.  It may be oregonfcu.com or presys.com.
You may double click on the account or high-light it and click on Properties.

 

On the Servers tab (at the top on the window, next to the General) make
sure that the Account Name is your full e-mail address.  Also make sure
that the check box at the bottom under Outgoing Mail Sever is checked.
The check box says My outgoing mail server requires authentication.
Click Apply then OK and Close. Thats it, your DONE!
